If you haven’t already heard, Instagram recently launched a new application called IGTV. Before you were only able to post videos up to 15 seconds. In 2016, they extended the videos from 15-seconds to 60-seconds. Now, users are able to to upload from 10 minutes up to an hour for unique accounts. This has changed the way users can market and advertise their brand. For example, a view counts as 3 seconds or more, similar to YouTube. You can also choose to have a channel, or you can just watch content other user's have. You can also upload and post on your computer. Something Instagram does not allow, but it's a great opportunity for video editors to get their hands on.
