One of the best things a hotel can do is run a blog. This gives customers a chance to see what activities are around your area. These are called a keywords and it becomes the bread and butter of your blog post. When researching a good keyword, there are a few things to keep in mind such as you want the keyword to be searched often but not have a lot of competition. Avoid large general keywords, for example, if your blog is about the Hollywood Bowl then avoid using Hollywood Bowl and try something like “The Hollywood Bowl” or “Hollywood Bowl Tickets.” Try to make your keyword as relevant to your topic since it’s what people are googling. Step 2:  Don't Get Too Creative with Your URL

Before you make your blog public, you might want to pay special attention to the blog’s URL. We’ve all seen the awfully long and seemingly random string of numbers and letters called a URL. The whole point of writing a blog is having it be read by as many people as possible. Google will use your hotels blog URL to help it understand what the post is about. Take a few minutes to improve the URL for readability.

Step 3: Let Your Blog Be Loved By All

Once you’ve got everything set up, it’s important to remember to optimize your blog for mobile websites. We all know the importance of this step since we all are attached to our phones. Studies have shown that people are using their phones versus a computer to go online. Therefore, your hotel’s blog will most likely be viewed on a smartphone!
