The Most Efficient Way to Wish Your Clients a Happy Holiday Season

The holidays are upon us once again and it’s time to choose how you want to wish your clients a joyous season. With the average company sending out 350 holiday cards, a stylish e Card is the most efficient way to let your clients know that they’re in your thoughts. When factoring in the time and labor to purchase, sign, and address traditional paper cards, an e-Card will save you nearly $800, relieving you of a tremendous amount of hassle during the most hectic time of the year.

A Green, Eco-Friendly Alternative

Electronic holiday greeting cards are also the green alternative to regular cards sent via the post office. From simple templates to animated custom designs, eCards feature stationery design, music and a warm greeting. In addition, e Cards can be personalized with pictures, custom greetings, company logos and even signatures.

eCard Analytics

Once your e-Card is sent out, response and bounce rates can be measured, as well as other helpful data like whether or not your eCard was in fact opened. This valuable information can be used for everything from updating your e-mailing list to assessing future business opportunities.

The Perpetual Procrastinator

For those who no matter what they do this meaningful task is inevitably left to the last minute, e Cards can be sent out quickly. The entire process can be completed in as little as one business day (custom eCards will of course require longer design time).

Facebook

300 Million Users & Counting

What began in a Harvard dorm room in 2004 as an invitation only networking site for college students has become the most dominant social networking website on the Internet. Facebook continues to revolutionize the way people stay in touch with one another, and not just with any single select segment of the population. With over 300 million active users and their fastest growing demographic being those 35 and older, Facebook’s marketing and revenue potential is virtually limitless.

A Cultural Phenomenon

Facebook has distinguished itself from its competitors in a variety of ways, becoming a cultural phenomenon in the process. Its networks (i.e., location, high school, alma mater, etc.) span the globe, and everyday more than half a million people sign up for a profile. These straightforward yet unique online identities allow users to post comments, pictures and video, and also feature a variety of interesting third-party applications that make Facebook entertainingly interactive. Users can add games, quizzes, news feeds, support tags and much more.

In addition, Facebook has some of the most specific and custom privacy settings of any site on the Internet. From making your entire profile private to selecting only various sections be made public, users have the ability to choose exactly who they want to allow into their network(s).

This unique site offers a friendly atmosphere that doesn’t clutter its pages with an overabundance of graphics. Offering plenty of networking options, users are able to search for and inevitably keep in touch with family, friends and colleagues, all with only a few clicks of a mouse.

Conclusion

Facebook currently handles about a billion chat messages each day and, during peak times, serves about 1.2 million photos every second. At the moment their focus seems to be on creating new and innovative networking features. From instant messaging and discussion forums to mobile versions of the site, Facebook is setting the pace by which the social networking arena evolves. You can now even send entire photo albums to friends even if they are not members of the Facebook community.

This social networking wave isn’t even close to cresting yet. Facebook gives each and every one of its users a voice that can be heard around the world. Businesses that fail to grasp the magnitude of its marketing power will do so at their own peril.

Service of the Month

Facebook, Twitter & YouTube

A Communication, Marketing & Revenue Generating Revolution

Social networking is growing at an exponential rate and is something that every industry needs to leverage to their advantage. Though the intricacies of Facebook, Twitter and YouTube differ quite a bit, what lies at the heart of each is an uncomplicated exposure that gives one the power to be heard around the world in an instant.

Valuable Information About Everything

Facebook now has over 300 million active users. People use Twitter to stay connected with one another 140 characters at a time. And one can post and view just about anything on YouTube.

Though the primary critique of these sites is that they’re filled with mainly trivial content, more and more people are using them to spread valuable information about everything. Businesses have already begun to use these sites to start up grassroots marketing campaigns to introduce new products, services and/or increase brand awareness. Taking this direct approach gives your company the opportunity to let customers know that you really care about their thoughts and opinions… Which better be the case, because people now have the power to spread positive or negative information to everyone that they know, all while sitting in front of their computer.

Interconnectivity

The True Power of Social Media

Though these revolutionary websites continue to grow at incredible rates, their interconnectivity is where their true power lies. Twitter, Facebook and YouTube can all share information with a few clicks of a mouse. Therefore, anything that one posts on YouTube can easily be sent right over to Facebook and Twitter, and vice versa.
