Set-Up

If I request a Standard eCard sample through your online system, does it charge me?
No, you are not being charged after putting in your initial request for a sample. This quoted price is just an estimate of what a card with the same selected specs might cost. Of course, these numbers can change depending on what else you may want to add or delete from the card after speaking with one of our representatives.

After requesting a sample, I received an e-mail with a card that doesn't match my specs. Why?
This is a canned e-mail that is sent to everyone who sends in a request and it does not reflect the specific specs you gave. Instead, this is sent to give you an idea of what an eCard looks like.

Can I use my own images on my eCard?
Yes, as long as the images are royalty-free and/or you own the rights/license to use them.

Can I purchase an eCard in a different language?
Yes, however you will need to provide the text written in your desired language.

Can I use music that is not provided on your website?
When you purchase music, the rights to use that music are licensed to you, and not to E-Marketing Associates. Because of this regulation, we are unable to use music that is not provided by us.

How do I send signatures for my eCard?
The easiest way to send your signatures to E-Marketing Associates is by having each person sign his/her name on a white sheet of computer paper using a fine point sharpie so that it comes out clean and clear. If the signatures are all given on the same sheet, each signature should be at least half an inch from each other around each side. This sheet should then be scanned and e-mailed to your eCard representative using the highest resolution possible.

Knowing that the eCard is made in flash, is there a way to make it compatible with Apple products?
Our cards will run on any device that has flash installed including apple desktops. For apple products that do not allow flash we have an option to make the eCard compatible with those devices. Please inform your sales representative when you place your order.

Will the Standard eCard display on smartphones?
Yes. As long as flash is installed on the smartphone.

If I send E-Marketing Associates my e-mail address, how do I know it's safe?
We DO NOT share, rent or loan your mailing address to anyone! All client email lists are for one-time use only and will be destroyed once the mailing is complete.

If I decide to send the eCard myself, will E-Marketing Associates offer support?
No, but we do offer a worry-free email service for an additional fee.

Does E-Marketing Associates temporarily host my eCard?
Yes.
How long is the eCard hosted on E-Marketing Associates' server?
All eCards are hosted through the end of January each year.

Does E-Marketing Associates provide me with the assets after the card is done?
No, for "Standard" eCards.
Yes, for "Custom" designs so long as you provide ALL image/photo assets, or purchase them from us outright.
